November 08 Shanghai 24 hours6th November, for the aptitude test of pwc, I bought the ticket to shanghai, depart time 16:44. the train was running late. the check-in time was 16:38. everyone's on then we begun move at 16:48. I was listening to the 'oops daisy' all the time and felt asleep for a while. it's 17:54 when I woke up. it was really dark outside; I thought we were moving in some sort of tunnel. got peed. then got back, got a message from a friend, replied roughly. began to read the opentution notes stored in my phone for around half an hour. felt thirst, drank some water from the one bottle bought at the Nanjing station gate for 2rmb. got bored. tried to check out why we were still in the tunnel realized it's dark. the battery ran out then, switched on the backup one in my bag. left the bag at my lap. went back to the notes. people started to stand up and pack their belongings. then the train slowed down, we arrived at Shanghai station 18:48. the station is under big constructions. moving slowly with the crowd. finally got out it, then put on my glasses, found out the subway station and yellow line 3rd. bought a ticket at the machine to the place I printed out. called the hotel's reservation number at the platform at 19:15. I said i might be late for the room, could I delay it. the guy on the other end said: I need my credit number to do that. I hung up. then the subway arrived and I got in. it was 4 or 5 stops away. so when I got the one it was 19:31. got out the station, search for the buy i got, and no result. saw people taking motor on the side road. approached one, asked how much, he rolled his eyes said 10. I wanna bargain but said to myself 'who am I kidding' got on, ridding to hotel only took 8 minutes, the motor driver mumbling during the ridding, I did give a dame, paid him, walked across to the hotel began to check in, the guy at front ask for 165 rmb, which was higher than the price told on the phone, called back to the reservation, the girl on the other end talked to the guy, and I got the key to room 213. laid on the bed for a while like 10 minutes then called my uncle home. got out the room to walk on the street, the Lizheng road, ate at small restaurant at 20:20 some, the owner kept yelling to her 6 years old girl at dinner, they were having dinner to. the Shenzhen TV was on some best oversea singers and groups. paid for the food and asked for some directions. got out, went into a supermarket and bought milk for 5.5 rmb. around 20:45, walked on the street and crossed a light went to the university where the test was supposed to be hosted. asked the gate men for the building they told me they don't know and I should come back earlier tomorrow. then went back to the hotel, bought some bananas on the way back. ask the front to call me at 7:30 to wake me up in the morning. got into the room, realized that the room stinks and hot, turned on the TV, screened around for a while, then began to watch this ICS a local english channel. ate some bananas, feel like pee, did, 21:32, put my watch on the table and watched more TV, then feel bored, comfort myself with banana peels. then some TV show was on, so I got into the bath room, I liked the heater a lot. took a long bath. then got dried. got out. around 22:10, took out my notes for next day's test tried to read, but can't. back watching TV. then it turned to really suck. turned it off. went to read the notes. felt not going on do the reading. so hitted the lights to sleep. then realized the room is extremely noisy, turned on the TV again, around 23:30. the noise went on. so I laid down and tried to sleep again. at 6:00 woke up, turned on the TV, some program called cool edition was on ICS, and some chief thing. went to pee and took a bath, drank some water, it's 7:31, kept watching TV till the chief thing was over, almost 8:00, went down and checked out, it's really quick to check, I should've taken some towels, but I did forget my cleaning stuff. went to buy some food at the super market. and went to the university, found out there were signs for directions, then got into the building at 8:10 something. there were approximately 200 already waiting. got wash my hands went to the third floor. went to downstairs again. then people are all on the second floor for the test. so went back. stood on the corner for a while waiting and opened a window next to me. there were people from the inside start to ask people to line up at 8:40 something. then got into the room signed my name on the way in, the lady told me to switch off my phone, and put my bag at the front in a way I didn't understand, I asked back what, she repeated, ok. Found my seat, sat and filling my text id. and the system went on, the declaration page turned on, waited, then the guy next to me came, and he asked some questions, and I put my watch in the middle as he required. so the test started. it's ok,cause all the questions had been put online by other people who took it earlier in a way. so the guy next me, his minutes ran out first, he said bye, I nodded. then 4 minutes later I got 10:30 exactly, went on the find the bus I supposed to take on my way came, and found it. saw a supermarket next to me, got in bought a map, and asked how to get the Waitan, she told me to walk down the street and took bus 55, so I did, in the end I asked some elders on the way, they all gladly told me. got on the bus successfully, heading to there, got there at 11:02, and found out tons of tourists, didn't keep myself stop when i saw a red light, I just turn to the green one, it leaded me to the kettie where took a boat some sort to cross the river. and bought a ticket to the highest tower there. while waiting got a message from a friend, told me the date and that I should eat dumplings for it. so I told where I was. took 5 minutes maxi to cross the river. got out and found out there a bus take us to the Dongfongmingzhu tower. it cost 15 rmb for 5 minutes. felt cheated, got out, and went to find the big sign of subway, the sandwich, and got a huge shopping mall, felt really hot cause the sky cleaned up, went straight to the third floor bought a t-shirt at unequal something for 79 rmb. changed and got out, it's 11:35 something, found out there were no subway in this building, man. then I saw burger king, so order a big one and a cup of spring and a cup of water. pigged on that, and got out to the tower which is 5 minutes away. and got in the tower, went through the security and elevated to the 267 meters or so. walked around and saw the city underneath, huge and beautiful. tried to go on the 300+ meters and waited in a line for 20-30 minutes, found out the guy sold me the ticket lied, so did walk downstairs to take the elevator down, then I saw the class floor where you can walk on sky, you know, my legs kept trembling on it. but I felt wonderful. so I took the elevator down and asked the info for the exibition of shanghai. she pointed out. got in and saw around, it was more than big, my legs began to sore at the end. then got out of it. check 14:30 something. saw the subway bought a sandwich for 15 rmb though not hungry. so seek for the metro to the train station to catch my way back/ leave. got the ticket and the ticket was cheaper than the one, but the distance was much longer. so got in, and changed in the half way, arrived at the station at 15:01. one lady asked me do I need a hotel. I said I need the direction to the station. she pointed out, thanked. got out, and found out that I have two hour to spend before the train. went into a burger kings waited for 10 minutes drank the salty soda bought next door. then went to the Watson found out there was nothing that I need, got out saw the sign for the food street, then decided to go to the downstairs, so moved around in it, found the Taiwan noodle, and ordered and ate the cute girl offer the me a yountun soup. it's rally nice. and read some book after the food and then 15:50 something, got out. went to the next building and there was a watch shop, so talked to the lady and tried on several watch, she asked whether I am gonna buy it, I said if I got the job here I'll. then she wished me good luck, and I left and got out, there are a people just sat on the spare of the station, I saw a guy check on the big clock, and found out it's 17:05 on it, impossible, and found out the clock was wrong. it's 16:27. got into the waiting room 3 for the train, and next seat sat this boy lost his balloon and his mother and grandma tried to fetch it down, but it was too high. so I decided to write on my phone then. the 24 hours.July 29 北戴河行Nous venons de aller au Beidaihe.C'est tres bon!
  第一天晚上8点多,踏着未干的雨水我们到了北戴河.火车上一路和对面的加拿大华人聊天.所以时间很快就过去了. 下火车就找到了俺舅舅, 呵呵,如此这般的就到了他待的空军疗养院.
It says it's going to be sunny that saturday when I checked it online earlier. However, when we appoached to the beach, there was this little rain flying around. This little something didn't stop our feeling of jumping-into the ocean right in front of us.
Cause it had rained alot for last few days. There are tons of jellyfish to be found in the low-water. The sun-shaped jellyfish, some told us they can be ate, others said the exactly oppsite. Well, for me, it's like the cold water that surrounding me which gave me this chilling made me happy. As I went on swim into the farther part of the beach, the crowds got quiet down, and thses ponding waves pushing me around flushed away all the madness that's been following me. Oh, deep ocean, she embraced me with all grace.
Some sunshine, some swimming and lots of bonding made up my trip. Pearl earring, and necklace amd stuff, we went to the market where you can really get them at a good bargaining price. And crabs and other seafood, we festiated our last diner. Even I don't really like the crabs, but what the hell, that was fun. On the way back we didn't get seats on the train, however we managed to get back in one piece.

October 23 hiking thoughtsOver a year since I came to this place, sometime I got asked ' have you been to somewhere' a lot, and it was ok at first few times, then every time after that I get ashamed for me, mine negligence about this city, and things with it.
I went to this place today, actually a mountain, not a very high one, but one famous by its red leaves. Glad I have been to there, glad I did it, cuz this is different from what I do on a daily basis, glad I caught it. Clearly the wildness of nature force has it way to approach its beauty to man's eyes so easily, I was We were... ---------- My thoughts flew with the wind on the peak, Leaves’ turning into red, somehow, just one night, then, it’s all different. Wondering leaves, these red leaves, it's just like a very good something something, things that they would memory. The redness, Like a relationship came to its end. Even all the love faded away; still, we have memory about it. Just like a red leave, the feelings of warms lips, the kiss, the sparkles, everything, ever, ever. When it came to it, the redness would just dance down and rest beneath, mix into the dust, and bond with the tooth of the loved tree. It's how the red leaves have to their ever behind. Only some cling-cling to the foregone, and be comings maybe. So vivid, Such is my idea of living it July 29 arround MalayMarch 07 Road trip == NO Fun at allI got some pictures which is from the trip two weeks ago during the spring festival. My cousins who don't live in twon came and we went out to some interesting place here in Shanxi Province.
As it seemed fun at the beginning , we drove. But I know it was tiring and I am totally fed up with the whole driving deal. And I am not in the mood to talk about the sad fact of it.
But the greater part is the places we went to . And I had fun there.

 I alway thought it would be Tibet the Palace there on the mountain.
Anyway I would confirm that after I come back from Tibet

Back to this Mt. Wutaishan, I went to there a week ago.
It's in Xinzhou Region, which happens to be in Shanxi Province, you know
We took 5 hours from the capital city to get there.
It's gettong colder as we climbed on the Mt.
I was fascinated by the natural scenery which is so wild.
if they got no temple, I would imagine myself as "Oooo,Yayi Ooooo"
We went to only one Peak, you know, the Dailuo Peak,
the one on the mountain you can see from the pictures
and some temples like the most famous one named Wuye Temple, where people usually go to pray for good lucks in earning maney
and Pusa Terrace which is for everything.
And some other places,
I am a cathlic, so I don't quite go with this buddhism thing
But I do believe in good luck or some sort of sign
Or the saying goes that someone is out there protect you.
So I go with my pal and worship them for the purpose of not hurting myself since I was standing on the land with the different religion.
but this rarely knowledged culture(for me of course) really impressed me
Wow. I would say it's a bad day for climbing the Dailuo Peak,
which gets 1080 steps
My buddy went to faint when we reached the 391st step
Funny!! August 20 I got home 2 days ago. And I'm gonna put up my pictures of last trip today.Im not quite used to this new vision of space. A little confusing for me.

July 17 God! I was Busy ^*^I thought I could update my space last week. And I did plan to that. But It turned out, I can't. I was busy. Really, I was.
I went to Redang Island two weeks ago. I was in bad mood cause something I was concerning was driving me crazy. So I went to the island which is one of the places that I have wanted to be there for a really long time. That trip was awesome.
Then I came back home, just had this feeling that I needed travel arround during this holiday. So I tried to find another place to go and gave this information of staying on one island to my agent who arranged my last Redang trip. And Wow, she's just so nice that offering me this job @ view vacation.
Suddenly, my life changed, from a student to a full time worker-- I will go back to Uni to finish my degree for sure later.
Then last week, I went to Perhentian Island on business. Althought It's a business trip. But I still got the chance to take some pictures and go diving. And I found Nemos on my own the second time. I'll put the pictures here later.
You know, I bought a water-proof camera. Wow, it really cost a big deal. But I found my Nemo, anyway. |
